Sarafena and her kittens were rescued from a local kill shelter and we couldn’t leave them there. To top it off one of Sarafena’s babies is a special needs boy. We took these babies home and found out they had an upper respiratory infection. Sarafena became so sick that she stopped eating. Her foster mom had to syringe feed her for 2 weeks. She was already skinny from giving birth and feeding 4 young kittens but now she was ill too. Her foster mom syringe fed her, gave her nebulizer treatments, humidifier treatments and medication to help her get through this nasty cold. Finally after 2 weeks she started eating on her own again! She is now happy and healthy and looking for her forever home!
Sarafena loves to lay in her foster moms lap, loves to be pet and brushed! She is an absolute sweetheart that gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens and she too deserves a very special home. She doesn’t have the fancy colors that draw most people in but beauty is not always what a cat looks like. Her loving personality is what it should be about. The vet thinks she is between 1-2 years old. She is tolerant of dogs that don’t pay much attention to her. She is not a fan of dogs that are in her face, but we are working on it.
**Sarafena is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Her adoption fee is $250 to help cover the cost of her airline flight and her travel crate.
