Tara's Story...
Tara us a mostly black lab pup just over a year old. She is a playful girl having lots of puppy fun at HALAH romping with her friends Duke and Scout. She is ready now for her own permanent, loving home. Tara is a bit shy at first, but enjoys her friends, toys, and attention (responds well to treats). Tara may do better with a sweet dog to mentor her in her new home. She has grown into a big lovable dog. Tara has already been spayed and has a very pretty face.

Meet Tara with other HALAH dogs for adoption at Burleson PetSmart. We will be there on Saturday, August 12th, from 11 until 3:30.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tara, a Godley Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Godley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Godley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Godley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Godley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Godley paves the way for another one to be saved.
