Nobel's Story...
This is Noble, a 5 year old Great Pyrenees who weights 110 pounds. Noble is a gentle giant. LOVES everyone. Lives with 3 other dogs, 2 cats and gets along great with them all. He is house trained and free to roam the whole house. I do not put I'm in a kennel. Noble knows basic commands, will do anything for a treat. He goes to sleep at the same time his foster family does, curls up at the side of my bed and waits for me in the morning. I have noticed that he does not jump up on furniture or get food off the counters, a real plus! He does like to go for walks 3 to 4 times a day. Great on a leash. Can be stubburn at times on a walk when he wants to go one way and I want to go another. Noble will lay down and look at me, we talk it over and most of the time he gets up and goes my way or we negotiate, after all who can resist his eyes. Monthly professional grooming will need to be part of his routine, this will also help keep the shedding to a minimum. Part of the adoption process will be a home visit. Noble needs room in the house and outside with a fenced in backyard. Nobel is up to date on his shots, neutered and micro chipped. If you would to make Nobel a part of your family please complete the application. He is awesome!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nobel, a St. Charles Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in St. Charles, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in St. Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
