Mambra's Story...
Hi My name is Mambra! and I am a 5 year old male English Labrador weighing 65 pounds, with a beautiful glossy black lush cat that will make you want to just hug me :-)

I am very submissive with other dogs also (almost too submissive, I am told, and can be easy target for bully dogs!) But i don't care as I just love to play with my canine friends, and I love every dog I meet l (I usually barks at them to tell them to come play with me ) and thats what as Labs are about We love everyone

I am good with CATS also

My two favorite things are tennis balls and belly rubs Haven't decided which is better yet :-)

Now about where I came from... I am from the exotic place called Puerto Rico where some nice lady rescued me there, after I was hit by a car, so I have couple of scars to show that happened on my back leg, but thank heavens that is all that happened, and although I have been through a lot in my young life, I am told I am still the happiest dog, and don't hold any bad will, and you would never know to see me run and play with other dogs at the park

I am neutered and have all my shots, and of course I am good boy, and I am house trained

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mambra, a Long Beach Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
