Ralph "Pretzel"'s Story...
Foster mom writes, He loves chillin' pretzel style on a deck or in your lap. He loves children, people and other dogs. My pack has put him through his paces and he has passed with flying colors. He was surrendered to Animal Emergency Center with an injured left foot and crawling with fleas. His foot is healing and all those crawling critters have been eliminated. He has been given a Drontal to get rid of Tapeworms. His first vaccinations are done. Best of all he is Heartworm negative! This boy is only 6 months old or so and he is very well behaved. He walks very well on a slack leash. He is easily corrected and redirected. He loves to romp and play but his favorite thing is snuggling Pretzel Style!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralph "Pretzel", a Memphis Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
