My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alfie is a sweet, handsome 2-3 year old neutered male Border Collie and Golden Retriever mix. He came back into the CTHDR program because one of his young owners is ill and they can no longer give Alfie the care he deserves.

They took wonderful care of him and he has attended Family Dog class as well as a beginner agility class. Alfie is social with people and other dogs and is a medium-high energy dog with an off switch. After play he will relax nicely at your feet. He loves to play and chase a tennis ball. He has lived in a dog savvy and respectful home with a small child very successfully. This sweet boy loves to ride in the car and go places with his people. He may chase cats and he is quite athletic. A fenced yard and another dog to play with would be ideal for Alfie otherwise, he will need a hiking/jogging or Frisbee partner.

If you are looking for a snugly, athletic sweet and social dog to join your family, Alfie may be just the one.

Alfie is neutered, up to date on vaccines, de-wormed, Heart worm Negative, Micro-chipped and on Heart worm and flea/tick prevention.
