My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Chianti and I am a female mackerel tabby ("stripey") kitten, dark with white socks and a white bib, born on or around April 2, 2016. I came with my five siblings into foster care in late July, and here I have learned general household manners, how to get along with dogs and other cats, how to be gentle with children, and how to occupy myself when my foster mom is busy. Of my siblings, I was always the sweet and unassuming one, and I have remained true to form! I like to be with people and resident pets, but I am not bossy or demanding. I like to play and have someone to keep me company but I don't get up to trouble if I have to be alone. I'm just a sweet, steady, reliable "girlfriend" type girl! I am FeLV/FIV negative, have had two doses of flea/tick preventative, and two rounds of shots. When you adopt me, I will need my surgical spay which is covered by my adoption fee at a participating animal hospital. I am litter-box trained and crate-trained. I am a happy tabby kitten who needs a forever home. I am looking for an active family where someone is home much of the time, and I would prefer to have other four-legged family members, too.
