Amber (Spayed)'s Story...
"Amber" is a beautiful 10-month old female Terrier mix who arrived at the HSOV on August 2, 2016 after she was found in the New Matamoras, Ohio area. This little sweetheart has a shiny chocolate brown short smooth coat with a patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and an adorable face with a chocolate brown nose, amber-colored eyes, and short floppy ears. "Amber" is a friendly young lady who loves attention but she doesn't rush into a relationship :) She never quite relaxed while she was having her glamour photos taken, but her pictures still show her true beauty. "Amber" is a petite youngster who weighs just 18.6 lbs. She is now available for adoption since she was not reclaimed. "Amber" has been spayed and has also been given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber (Spayed), a Marietta Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
