Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Lewisberry, PA
Osbourne, aka Ozzy, is a gray maine coon ("the dogs of the cat world") with the most endearing green eyes. He was estimated to be about 3 years young when he was initially adopted, so he is now roughly 8 or 9 years old. He is neutered. He does not scratch furniture. He loves to exercise and file his own claws if you spike his scratch post with some catnip. Any toy laced with catnip he will fall in love with over and over again. Laser pointer if in the mood can amuse this little guy for some time. Throw down a box, basket or crinkled paper and he'll go to town.
He is very lovable and he races to the door to greet you when you arrive home. He is not a loner, he is a people’s cat who loves to mingle and socialize. He may even try to talk "kitty" with you every once in a while. He loves to have his luscious long coat and mane brushed to help him avoid hairballs and leaving you dust bunnies. He loves to be pet and massaged. If prompted, he may every once in a while want to sit on your lap and watch tv. He may crawl in bed or if you wish to carry him in with you but he doesn’t always stay the night.
He has been an indoor cat and is currently living in a single pet household. He has been around other animals, both dogs and cats, in the past. He currently lives in a place above a golden retriever. There have been no problems. He may be able to make the adjustment of living with another furry sibling. Ozzy is also friendly with children.
He is up to date on all his shots and vaccines. He has recently made the transition to live a gluten and dye free lifestyle and feels it has given him a few of his 9 lives back. His energy has definitely perked up. He eats both wet and dry food. He prefers a quiet area for privacy and to roam in his roofless litterbox to take care of business.
Ozzy is looking for a new home since his mom has aged and can no longer take care of him due to an illness. If you’re interested in adopting him, please contact Marissa at marissa@artbrainskids.com.
