Having a zest for life and love for people which could accurately be said to be “brimming over with enthusiasm,” this high-spirited, curious, and very engaging charmer just can’t wait for her forever family to come take her home. Highly affectionate, happy-to-be-around, very loyal and devoted, Her craves human companionship and close contact, and she yearns to form deep, life-long bonds with family members who will cherish her as much as she cherishes them.
Warm-hearted and extremely loving with those she knows, Her may initially be discerning of strangers, but she relaxes and is quick to acknowledge strangers as friends she just hasn’t met yet with only slight direction from her handler. Attentive and intelligent with a high learning capacity, Her appreciates being challenged and revels in praise for accomplishment. Not only is she a young dog who will benefit from and enjoy training and socialization classes, but this will also be a great way to establish a trust bond, boost confidence, meet exercise needs, and help reinforce good canine members. So, of course, we recommend them.
Exuberantly fun-loving outdoors, pleasantly calm and well-mannered indoors, Her will need regular physical activity and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy. Her exercise needs though are not at all extreme and can be met with leashed walks, interactive outdoor play, obedience training, and plenty of opportunities to romp and explore in a securely, fenced yard with family members and on her.
Up for any adventure by day, and ready to hunker down and snooze contently near her adored family members by night, Her is a delightful darling of a dog looking for responsible, caring owners willing to include her in daily family activities and provide her with the leadership, companionship, and TLC she needs and deserves for the rest of her life.
Her is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a moderately-active lifestyle. While we think she’ll do well in a home with a compatible, similar-sized dog, she has been properly introduced to, particularly one of the opposite-sex, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption. We also think she’ll do well in a home with children once introductions are made and the home is one where children and pets alike are taught to respect boundaries and interaction is monitored as it should be.
