Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lizzy was rescued from a neglect situation where she was not receiving the
medical care that she needed. When we first met Lizzy, she had no fur on her
head or neck, and was missing all of her whiskers. She had lots of scabs
from scratching at herself. With medical care and proper nutrition, Lizzy's
fur has grown back very soft, and she now has lovely white whiskers. In her
pictures, you don't see the little white mittens on all of her feet that
match them.
Lizzy is a smart and athletic kitty. In foster care, she has discovered
toys--and catnip! She plays in spurts, then likes to curl up in her cage,
puppy style, for an afternoon nap. Lizzy loves to snuggle close to her
foster mom, either sleeping at her feet during the day or curling up with
her in bed at night. She is very talkative, especially at mealtime, telling
her foster mom exactly what she wants. Lizzy wants to be your one and only
kitty, but we think she might enjoy having a dog around.
