Berta's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Berta's Story...
Berta is a beautiful diluted calico with gold tipped ears, 4 white mittens and a white tip on her tail. Although a little shy, she is so curious that she just has to peek out and take part in anything that is going on. Berta does enjoy being petted and will reward you with a purr. She loves to play with her siblings and when she is tired, you will find her stealing your lap. We have no doubt that she will be a lap cat. She's on her way to purrfection! Berta was born 4/27/2016 and spayed. She is up to date on her vaccinations, litter box trained, and being fostered in a home. Berta just needs a loving home and a lap to make her happy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Berta, a McCormick Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
