Pepper's Story...
Hi! My name is Pepper. I am a super sweet pup and I am just looking for my furever home! I would be great in a home with other dogs or kids with whom I can play. I am 10 weeks old (born around May 25, 2016), weigh about 6 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines and on flea and heartworm prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $350, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport if my new family lives in the northeast USA. I am currently being fostered in South Carolina, but I can catch a ride up north to meet my new family. Please email my rescue at daybeforetherainbow@yahoo.com to get an adoption application! Thanks for checking me out!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Bridgeport Chihuahua/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Beagle for sale in Bridgeport, or seeking a Chihuahua/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Bridgeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Beagle breeders who help with Chihuahua/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
