My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fostered in Spokane Valley, WA

Why hello! My name is Leo and I am a young, sweet, affectionate Border Collie mix who came to Power of the Paw from a kill shelter in Southern Idaho. I have the sweetest face, and it definitely matches my personality. My foster mom says I am so loyal and cuddly that she can hardly stand it. I also know "sit" and "shake" and can't wait for you to teach me more. Training is important for young puppies like me. I'm a pretty big puppy too, so manners will be important as I grow and become an adult.

Speaking of puppies, I do have a puppy habit. I love to chew on things. By providing me with things that are proper chew toys, I will learn what is and isn't okay to chew on. I haven't had any accidents in my foster home, and I do really well in the crate. I don't make a peep while my foster mom is at work.

Foster mom has a son that I like to play with. I'd love to have a fenced yard so I can burn off energy. Walks will be important too, so that I can learn to respect you as my pack leader. I'm really looking for guidance, as POTP says that I have loads of potential. My breed mix means that I am very intellegent, so I will need you to keep my mind busy as I learn and grow. If I get bored, I may get into things I shouldn't. So far, I haven't shown fear of loud noises, so expose me to as many new things as possible so that I am well socialized and ready for anything life throws at me.

I just want a home where I can relax and enjoy my family with long cuddles and attention. If you're that home, please go tohttp://powerofthepaw.org/adopt/dog-adoption-application/ and start the process so we can set up a meet n greet! I'm so ready to go home!

ADOPTION FEE: $200 includes neuter, DAPP, Rabies, Bordetella, microchip, deworm and vet check.
