Nico's Story...
Nico needs our help! This sweet guy is young and full of life, but he's had a horrible life. Living on the streets Nico was apparently hit by a car and the injury seems to be old. Nico now finds himself no longer having to survive alone, but instead I'm an overcrowded shelter. Nico is black and injured...his chances of getting out our slim, but we need to try! This guy is so sweet and has so much love and life to give. Nico loves playing with other dogs, and tries his best to be just like the other dogs. Nico also gets along with cats! Nico needs and adopter or rescue to step up and finally give him the help, love, and family he's never had. Nico is a 1 year old, heart worm negative, lab/shep mix located at the Lee County Animal Shelter in Bishopville, SC 29010. If interested in rescuing or adopting please email friendsofleecounty@gmail.com ‪

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nico, a Bishopville Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Bishopville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bishopville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bishopville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bishopville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bishopville paves the way for another one to be saved.
