My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Amos! I am a Black Mouth Cur mix. I am nearly 2 years old. I am looking to find my forever home. I will need a strong person to keep me active and consistent with training. I can be a bit of a handful when you don’t let me know whats acceptable. I am a big boy at around 70 lbs of pure muscle. I walk well on a leash and love to play. I get a bit rough when playing so it would be best if you want a play mate for me that they be a bigger dog. I come from a hunting background naturally so please no cats or small dogs. I don’t know my own strength at times so if you have small children I may push them down so I may do better with bigger kids. I also love to cuddle with my foster family. They let me on the couch sometimes and I love to put my head in their lap and sleep. I also am crate trained and housebroken. I love being outdoors! I do not like strangers much and am hoping to get help with that. I need a patient owner but have a lot of great qualities. So if you are up to a rewarding challenge please call and ask for me!

Amos' adoption fee is $250, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
