Catelyn's Story...
Our Game of Thrones kittens are ready for adoption!!! Sweet and clever, snuggly and playful, these kittens are everything you could possibly be looking for!

Featured here is teeny, tiny, little Catelyn, the matriarch of this crew. Just a kitten herself, she deserves a place to call home! Catelyn can be adopted with one of her kittens, or to join your cat or kitten at home as a buddy!

This large, rambunctious family includes Catelyn, Sansa, Tyrion, Theon, Arya, Samwell, Gilly, and of course, Jon Snow! Check out the entire family!

Chicago Cat rescue is dedicated not only to the physical, but the emotional well being of the cats and kittens in our care. Because of this philosophy, kittens are adopted in pairs, or to join another kitten or very young cat already in your household. No exceptions.

We only do local adoptions. We do not ship cats or kittens.

If you would like to meet, and possibly adopt some of our Game of Thrones crew, contact Cindy: cindy@chicagocatrescue.org, or call (773)203-0215.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Catelyn, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
