G-Chive 7/20-1256. Chive was caught in a trap, as you can see life has not been kind to him. When I did his photos I re-scanned him and found a microchip. He is 10 years old, his name is Chive. He was adopted and/or chipped from a local rescue but sending him back might yield the same results so I am going to advocate for him here! Lets save CHIVE round 2 !!!

Act quickly to adopt G-Chive. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

G-Chive, a McDonough Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in McDonough, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in McDonough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McDonough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McDonough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McDonough paves the way for another one to be saved.
