Facts about Bonsai

  • Breed: German Shepherd Dog Mix
  • Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Bonzai is 10 years young, enjoys playing with his foster fur-sister and adores his foster human brother. While he has his active moments, he is fairly low energy and very lovable.

Bonsai comes to us after his previous owners had to find new housing. They found a "foster" home for him while they looked for a place that would allow them to keep Bonsai. Sadly, this did not happen, and Bonsai is now in search of a home that he can call his own.

If you are interested in Bonsai, call us today to set up a meet and greet. 860-271-1361

About CT Animal House

About Our Rescue Group...

CT Animal House is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that assists CT Muncipal Pounds by providing support for emergency medical expenses, grooming, evaluation and behavioral training, and promotion of animals through our networks, in order to improve each animal's chances for adoption. Too often animals with special needs go untreated and are eventually deemed unadoptable and euthanized.

Our Adoption Process...

To adopt a dog from CT Animal House a signed adoption contract is required. We check Vet references and require a home visit before placement. Our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. CT Animal House asks for a 250.00 donation which will be used to continue our mission to help the next CT dog in need of assistance. We offer advice on training, nutrition, and are always available to offer support. We want your adoption process to be a positive experience for you and your new dog!
