Who can resist that face? Chevy is a happy and playful guy. Very affectionate. Just an absolute big teddy bear. Chevy is just a fun loving boy who enjoys playing ball and tug. Chevy can be very aloof when he first meets you just because he is so curious about what is going on around him as he is very smart and likes to take it all in! He is well behaved. He has a great personality and gets along well with everyone. Chevy just desperately wants to be part of a family.
Chevy is house trained and crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He knows several commands. He is good with other dogs, but did not acclimate well to the cat that lived in his home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chevy, a Owasso Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Owasso, or seeking a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Owasso.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owasso already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owasso breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owasso paves the way for another one to be saved.
