Howie's Story...
Howie - M16-150
The Magicats rescue guy named me HOWIE. Probably short for Howler. I WAS hungry, but not excited about being rescued. I told him that, LOUDLY. Since then, I've realized Rescued Is Good. Regular meals, cat and human friends, and a fun place to hang out. I'm using my Inside Voice now, and excited to find a new forever life. I'm about 15 months old, with a short, flat classic tabby coat. Sound boring? Nope. I'm actually a deep thinker, a friendly, smart guy eager to be part of your life. I'm neutered, current on shots, and negative for FIV/FELV. After I was rescued, I had a little trouble with my digestion, so my foster mom recommends a good quality sensitive stomach kibble, like Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach, or equivalent. I'll be meeting people soon at Twin Falls PetSmart. I should be INSIDE ONLY, which I've learned is pretty cool, and I get along great with polite cats. Probably not little kids and introduce dogs carefully. I will do best in a family with time to socialize, snuggle and teach me the ropes. I think I will fit in very well. Want to know more? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
