Bishop's Story...
Bishop comes to us from our friends out at the Wilson County shelter. Bishop is a 2-year-old pit bull mix, and he is such a sweet and funny boy! He likes to be silly and prance around – especially if he knows you’re watching. He ADORES attention, and he just wants to love on everybody!

Bishop has a lot happy, excited energy, and we are working on his manners. He loves to go for walks and runs, which is a great release for all that energy. Bishop is housebroken and knows some basic commands.

Bishop has an incredible temperament. He is great with other dogs, and excellent with children. He is a sweet, loving, gentle boy who would compliment any family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bishop, a Gainesboro American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Gainesboro, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Gainesboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
