My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sacramento- Nina came to us after her owner's house caught on fire. Her and her breeding partner were safe, since they were outdoor dogs, but they were left homeless. They have until 5/30 to reclaim them, however, we are looking for a potential foster-to-adopt in case they do not reclaim her (foster mom is going on vacation before that).

She is now spayed and is your typical Bulldog. She is playful for about 10 minutes a day and other than that will be found holding down a couch or dog bed somewhere. She is crate trained and potty trained, although came to us with a UTI and some stones (which she passed easily), so she may need to be on a special diet for this. Other than that, she is healthy (which is unusual since usually we get ones with medical issues).

She has done really well with the animals in her foster home, however there were super slow introductions (took several days before they were introduced) and the other dogs and cat leave her alone. She does have some resource guarding, involving food and bones, but usually just makes noise (so again that would matter on how the other dogs react to such behavior). She was tested with rambunctious kids, she chased them, jumped up on them and tried to "dance" (aka hump) them but other than that just really wants human affection. As far as bulldogs are concerned- she is easy! She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines.

Adoption fee: $300
