Rose (Rosie or Rosebud to her family) is a 4-year old Maine Coon mix that needs a new home due to a change in her housing situation.   Rose’s current guardian adopted her from a shelter as a kitten and wants to see her best girl in a new home with a loving family as soon as possible, so that she never has to go back to a shelter again.

Rose has a beautiful orange and cream fluffy coat, and is as sweet and fun as she is pretty.  She is very playful and adores water --- very characteristic of the Maine Coon personality.  She adores her human and is simply happy to be near her, following her around, sitting next to her, and sometimes playfully batting at her to indicate playtime has arrived.  Rose is quite a busy girl so doesn’t have time to be held for long cuddles.  She loves mealtime and will chat away so that her human doesn’t forget to feed her.

Rose has always been the only cat in the house, so would probably do best as her new family’s one and only.  Rose would do really well in a home with older children.

Rose has been spayed, is up-to-date on her vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV.  Rose has excellent household manners and always uses her litterbox.

Rose is located in Fairless Hills, PA.  If you are interested in adopting her, please contact Ms. Devers at:, or call 267-307-2481, after 12:00pm.  Rose’s caregiver can help with transportation up to 60 miles.

About Only Maine Coons Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

At OMC! (Only Maine Coons Rescue) we are a group of volunteers with a passion to save Maine Coon/Maine Coon Mix Cats/Kittens. Each of us has an important part to play in the running of this rescue. Volunteering in our spare time to do whatever we can to save these beautiful cats from situations including being unwanted, facing euthanasia, or coming from a bad home situation. We work hard to find each and every "Coonie" the best possible "furrever" home.

OMC is composed of a network of foster homes. While we work to find our cats the "purrfect" home, we bring them into our homes. We nurture and care for them as if they were our own. Then when the time comes, we let them go to their new "furrever" home. This is always a bittersweet time for the foster parents, but then the next cat that needs saving comes along, and we do it all over again. Saving one "Coonie" at a time keeps us going strong.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are network of foster homes. Once approved, a potential adopter may go to the foster home to meet the cat/kittens they are interested in.

Our Adoption Process...

An application is received and processed, a summary is written up from that process, the entire group votes on that applicant. IF they meet all our criteria they will be approved.

Criteria Vet reference, personal (non family) reference.

If approved, and the adopter has found a cat from our pool, they must be approved by the foster mom/dad. If approved an adoption agreement is completed, spay/neuter contract if it's a kitten that is too young to be spay/neutered. Donation is made.

fees: Each Cat/Kitten(s) will be fully vetted. Vetting includes the following vaccines, FVRCP, Rabies, Combo Tested Negative, and Spaying or Neutering. Sometimes our kittens are adopted before they are old enough to spay or neuter. (In this case it is up to the adopter to pay for the Spaying or Neutering).
