Joey's Story...
Hi, my name is Joey! I am a 5 year old, 23 lb sweetheart who does well with other dogs. I love to be with you and to go on walks. I was found as a stray and brought to a local animal control facility. I was microchipped, so the shelter workers were able to get in contact with my family and tell I was there waiting for them. My family told them they just didn’t want me anymore. I can’t figure out why they would do that to me, but my friends at Orphan Annie Rescue have promised me that I am safe now. I hope you will consider me!

If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an application online at www.orphanannierescue.org.

My adoption fee is $250, which includes my neuter, shots up to date, heartworm testing, and microchipping.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joey, a Atlanta Manchester Terrier/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Manchester Terrier/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Manchester Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
