Facts about Carly
Breed: Shar Pei
Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn - With White
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
I am purebred.
Carly is an owner surrender who is having a hard time with shelter life. She will need an adopter to give her time to get comfortable and feel safe. Carly is a very precious girl and will make an excellent companion for a laid back home. She will likely need to be the only dog in the home.
Our purpose is to promote the animals of the River Rouge Animal Shelter, in hopes of either reuniting them with their owners or finding new homes or rescues for them.
Mission Our mission is to bring awareness to these animals in need, with the hope of finding responsible permanent homes for them.
Description The new and improved shelter is now very rescue friendly, but we are SMALL, and are not able to house too many animals. We do our best to network them in hopes of finding suitable adopters or rescues for them, but if our shelter fills up, then the animals who have been there the longest are in jeopardy of being euthanized.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Since we are so small, we are on site generally from 11am to 1pm daily to care for the animals. If you would like to meet one of our animals listed at a time other than what is listed, you are encouraged to call 313-205-1732 to arrange a time that will work for you. We are rescue friendly.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fee's are $25 to $75 and we require a $25 deposit for spay/neuter. We require an application for our animals and strive to place them with the person/family best suited for the animal.
