Toda's Story...
Meet Toda
This beautiful girl is available for adoption in the Midwest and New England.

Toda is a sweet, gentle chocolate lab mix that was picked up as a stray. She is one to two years old and weighs about 55 pounds. Toda has a great temperament and is very good with other dogs and probably with cats as well. She is a medium energy girl who will need exercise. She will love going on long walks in the woods or around the neighborhood. Toda would be a great dog for an active family with older children.

Toda is a well-behaved girl. She is house trained and knows some basic commands. She is smart and would benefit from some obedience training to refine her manners. Toda is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped.

If you are interested in making this super girl a part of your family go to www.luckylabrescue.com and fill out an online application indicating your interest in Toda in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toda, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
