My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're looking for someone who's thrilled to see you when you come home -- even if you were gone for only five minutes -- Phoebe's your girl!!! What a nice girl! Sweet, silly, playful, happy, loving, and so much more. Wonderful smile! Love to give kisses. Excellent on a leash. Loves to go for walks and is excellent when meeting other people and pups. Very friendly.

Phoebe was rescued from an LA-area shelter where she had been for almost two months! She was so scared, withdrawn, and sad in her run that people would just walk on by, but something about her just grabbed our attention. We just couldn't leave her there, and boy, are we happy that we didn't. Once we got her home, she immediately perked-up. Such a love! Excellent with other dogs, big and small. She even gets along with her foster's grumpy Chihuahua. :) Happy, happy girl.

So well behaved that you could take her anywhere. Slept in a crate the first night with just a couple peeps. Second night, she joined her friends in the bed and did great! Settled right in and slept through the night like a champ.

The shelter estimated Phoebe to be four (4) years old, but she sure acts much younger, and her teeth look great. She's probably between two and four years old. She weighs about ten pounds. Super soft, thick coat. Really a nice pup.
