EST DOB: 4/9/16

Danica was found alone at Texas Motor Speedway when she was approximately 3 weeks old. ARF took her in and bottle fed her until she was old enough to eat on her own. Danica, like her Nascar namesake, is a feisty little girl with tortitude. She has been in a foster home with adult cats, kittens and children. She gives the big cats and the other kittens a run for their money. While Danica does not mind other cats she prefers humans by far and like most Torties can be possessive of them. She loves to sleep with her foster family and enjoys getting up on shoulders close to the face when she snuggles or sleeps. She gets along with the other cats and kittens in the house, but seems to want them to know she is the Princess, no I would say Queen, of the house. She will sleep with them and play with them at times, but on her terms.

She is completely litter box trained and her fosters say she was the most advanced when it came to the litter box of any kitten they have ever fostered. She is very good with her claws when she is on or near you. Her one quirk is she prefers wet food and over crunchy food. She is not overly picky when it comes to the wet food, but so far she has mostly rejected dry food other than freeze dried raw such as Stella and Chewys that has not been re-hydrated. While wet food it actually better overall some people prefer a mix of wet and dry. Later she may eat more crunchy food as she grows, but as a kitten she does great on the wet.
