Facts about Annie

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: PP/annie/16
  • Hair: Short
Annie is a Black and White shorthaired mix kitty. She was born in 2015. She is full of piss and vinegar, but, now that she is out of pain, she is relaxing daily. When happy she is a very sweet cat.

Annie's eye was damaged as a kitten. Whoever owned her, at that time, did nothing to help her. She was turned into the city shelter where their vets got her the help she needed. Her eye was removed in July 2016 just before she came to be with us for fostering. Her eye needs no care or treatments. She is good to go to a happy new home.

Annie needs some patience and a lot of TLC. She certainly deserves it. She would be best in a home with no young children and maybe only one other cat companion. Not sure how she would do with dogs.

INFO: Our feline rescues have been Blood Tested and are Negative, unless otherwise indicated. Included in Adoption Fee: Current status with Vaccinations, Spay or Neuter, Parasite Treatments as needed, Blood Testing, Vet visit as needed, Two Week Trial Period, Lifetime Return Policy and ALL of our rescues are Microchipped.

AS A GENERAL RULE: We do not place kittens or cats as ONLY pets. This is our general rule but there are some that would do better as only pets.

NOTE: Photos of cats/kittens with cage bars, or merchandise, in the background have been taken during one of our adoption events. (We do not keep our rescues caged!) Cats/Kittens are sometimes scared at the adoption events so their photos will NOT do them justice.

BE SURE TO CHECK our website for ADDITIONAL information ABOUT ADOPTING FROM US.

About Precious Paws

About Our Rescue Group...

The primary purpose of Precious Paws is to rescue abandoned and/or abused companion animals. These animals may be found on the streets, in shelters, or even relinquished by their owners. All animals will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested and healthy before they are placed for adoption into new homes. This will be the main focus of all of our activities. It provides the public with the service of the humane rescue of animals and saves the lives of animals that are in need. These animals will be placed into the homes of our volunteers to be cared for until they are adopted and placed into their new permanent homes. These permanent homes will be found mainly through adoption events which will generally be held at pet stores.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an Adoption Procedure and Application. Pending approval, based upon application, in-person interview, reference checks and review of all information by our Board of Directors, we schedule a Home Placement. We have an Adoption Contract for you to read, discuss and sign. We provide a Two-Week Trial Period and a Lifetime Return Policy. NO pet is released from ANY of our adoption events / locations. As stated above, we do home placements.

NOTE: Not everyone who applies for a pet will get a pet. This has more to do with the pet than with the applicant. However, every application will be considered, and is deeply appreciated!

There is more in depth information available on our website, Including Fee info (fees are subject to change). LOOK FOR OUR SPECIAL DISCOUNT FOR CATS / KITTENS. www.PreciousPaws.org

If you plan on coming out to visit us at one of our adoption event venues, please call the venue or email us first to ensure that we are there.
