Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you ready for ROSIE???
She’s an awesome older dog—7 ½ years old to be exact. Rosie would like you to know what’s great about adopting an older dog: they don’t run around chewing on your favorite shoes, they’re potty-trained, and they’re happy just sitting with you while you read a book or watch a movie (though Rosie also likes to go for walks just to “smell the flowers”—what a wise girl!). As is typical with most Dachshunds, she’d do best being the only pet, but she’s a very happy dog who wants to show you how much love she has to give!
Rosie is all up to date on the medicals (rabies, bordetella, DHPP, Advantage, spayed) and she says her recent grooming and pedicure makes her feel 3 years younger. She comes with a new leash and collar set, toys and blanket, dog food and a free exam card for her next appointment with our Doxie vet at Best Friends Veterinary Medical Center.
Perhaps if you are not quite ready or able to adopt, you might be willing to help our rescues pass their time in rescue by donating toys and long lasting chew bones. We are also in desperate need of clothes washing soap, disinfectant and Lysol spray. PLEASE HELP. Any assistance would be appreciated!
Please go to www.odr-inc.org and read our strict criteria and then complete our questionnaire and email it to us. We will be in touch with you as soon as we have the chance to review your application. The rescue hours for contact are 9am to 8pm. Thank you, Jenell 503-313-3220
