My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I'm Lancelot. I am a 6-month-old neutered male Labrador mix. I weigh around 37 pounds right now, but I definitely have some growing to do. I'm microchipped and up to date on my vaccines, so I'm all ready to move in!

I have an amazingly sweet and gentle personality and a tail that never stops wagging. You'd be hard pressed to find a puppy cuter than me!

I was found as a stray near the South LA pound so not much is known about my past. I came in with a pretty bad broken leg. The veterinarian at the shelter thought I was going to have get it removed, but luckily, CageFree came to my rescue and sent me to their private vet to get a second opinion. I ended up having surgery and was able to keep my leg! I've been getting lots of rest and taking it easy. The vet said my leg is healing up great and I'm on the fast track to recovery!

I'm having an awesome time here at the rescue facility, waiting for my new family to come along. I get lots of attention from all of my human friends here, which I love. What could be better? Well, of course, a forever home would be better! I'm a young dog looking for an active family who loves spending time with their canine companion.
