My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MELL is a 4 year old neutered fox red male Lab who weighs 77 pounds. Mell is a little shy for a couple of minutes when he first meets you but fine after that. Loves to get petted and will lay down and let you rub his belly for as long as you want. Don't think he has had a lot of attention and care in his life up until now. He would like a home with a family that will give him the attention and love he deserves.
Good with other dogs has been out with several at the shelter with several with no problems. No cat history. Knows sit, come. Will have Training Addendum, He is okay with an Easy Walk Harness. Most likely house trained, waits until he goes outside to go. Mell comes from the country and has no exposure to big cities. Placements is limited to single family stand-alone homes in a suburban neighborhood, or rural area. Mell is approved for kids ages 10+. More info soon.
