Butters's Story...
Meet Butters! This little guy is sweet, happy and affectionate! He greets everyone with a warm doggy smile and enthusiastic tail wag. He is good with dogs and kids and likes to be surrounded by those he loves. His ideal environment will include an active family that loves to include him in day to day adventures yet wants a constant snuggle buddy and companion as well. Butters rides great in the car, loves trips to the park, is well-behaved on leash, easy to walk, good with other dogs, people and kids. We don't know if he's ever met a cat before but suspect he would do OK with kitties as well. Age 7 years. 17 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butters, a Washoe Valley Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Washoe Valley, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Washoe Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washoe Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washoe Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washoe Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
