Wrangler is a Flat Coat Retriever/Border Collie mix with a GORGEOUS, shiny black coat & was destined to life on a chain until the rescue came along. A very high energy dog, Wrangler loves to play with other dogs—sharing toys, playing tug-o-war, fetching, wrestling. He gives great hugs to his people and likes to rest his head on your lap and will snuggle next to you in bed as well as be content sleeping on the floor beside you. Wrangler would be a great running and/or cross country skiing partner or agility dog. He is very light on his feet-sometimes even looks like a dancing dog!! He can follow commands and be easily trained, but he has SO much energy that he needs a home with a fenced yard, another dog to play with, and an owner who has plenty of energy to walk/run him or play with him daily. Maybe a little too much energy for young children. But he has a gorgeous smile and is always SO happy to see you!. This handsome guy is young, ambitious & loving.
