Chase's Story...
Hi! I'm Chase I am believed to be a Golden Retrieve/Shepherd Mix about 4 years old. I was found in S. Illinois as a stray and no one came and looked for me. I have been neglected for a long time, you should have seen what a mess I was before my new rescue took me in and had me groomed. I am heartworm positive and I have ehrlichia (Lyme disease). I am being treated for the ehrlichia which is the same medicines I am needing prior to my heartworm treatment. So I'm not ready for adoption yet but I am looking now for my forever home. So when I'm healthy and ready to go I'll be all set. I bet you can't resist my cute face. Hope to meet you soon so I can find my forever home.

If you are interested in meeting me please submit an application-you can find on our website www.atailof4paws.org or contact us at 855-630-7297 or email at rescue@atailof4paws.org. My fee is $250 which includes my neuter, rabies, distemper, heartworm check, microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chase, a Romeoville Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Romeoville, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Romeoville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Romeoville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Romeoville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Romeoville paves the way for another one to be saved.
