My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Chase I am believed to be a Golden Retrieve/Shepherd Mix about 4 years old. I was found in S. Illinois as a stray and no one came and looked for me. I have been neglected for a long time, you should have seen what a mess I was before my new rescue took me in and had me groomed. I am heartworm positive and I have ehrlichia (Lyme disease). I am being treated for the ehrlichia which is the same medicines I am needing prior to my heartworm treatment. So I'm not ready for adoption yet but I am looking now for my forever home. So when I'm healthy and ready to go I'll be all set. I bet you can't resist my cute face. Hope to meet you soon so I can find my forever home.
