Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Groot is a 2 year old male black and tan wire-haired dachshund with awesome expressive eyebrows. He is an owner surrender and so far, Groot seems to get along with everyone he meets, including dogs, kids and cats. He's young and has lots of energy, so he will need a home that has time to exercise and play with him. Groot does fine in a kennel and is working on his potty training. We think once he gets on a regular schedule, he will get the whole potty training thing down with very few problems. Groot needs a home with a resident dog to show him his way, and with no children under the age of 8.
Adoption donation for Groot is $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
