Coco's Story...
Looking for love? So is Coco!

CoCo is a senior Shih Tzu mix girl who is at least 10 years old.

This old girl has poor vision, skin tags, and a couple of warts, but we know that she'll find someone to love her just as she is!

CoCo is a low energy, generally quiet little gal who is just looking for a home to live out her days and a heart to embrace her with love.

She's good on a leash and pretty well potty trained, but she may have the occasional accident in the middle of the night. CoCo is okay with being picked up and would love a spot next to you on the couch to watch TV.

CoCo does have a dry eye condition that may need some lubricating eye drops now and again to help her stay comfortable.

She is a sweet and gentle girl who loves people and cuddling in her bed.

Coco has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the $25 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Seville Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Seville, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Seville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seville paves the way for another one to be saved.
