Vinnie's Story...
Vinnie is available for adoption in the Midwest and New England.

Meet Mr. Vinnie!

This black beauty loves children of all ages. He is great with cats and gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home. Vinnie is about 7 years old and loves his people! He wants to be with you and he thinks he must sleep with you in the bed! He gets on the bed gently, stepping over you, but hogs the bed until he is in a comfortable position. He likes going for walks but needs some practice as he does pull on the leash. He is house trained.

Vinnie is not a fan of crates, but he does fine being left loose in the house when you are not home.
Vinnie came into Lucky Lab heartworm positive and has been successfully treated.
Vinnie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and is micro-chipped. Vinnie is on flea and tick preventative.

If you think you might be a good fit for this respectful gentleman, please go to our website, www.luckylabrescue.com, complete the online application and indicate 'Vinnie' in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vinnie, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
