Simply Luke's Story...
Simply Luke is simply impressive! This handsome 7 year old black and tan Bloodhound weighs about 135 lbs and was surrendered by his owners for reasons unrelated to him. This mellow boy is a total sweetheart that loves to spend time with his people. He gets along with female dogs but not as well with most males; NO cats, please. Luke is great in the car and is totally crate and house trained. He will pull on a leash but does well with a harness lead. Luke needs a family to call his own - he loves kids but is very large and may be too much for smaller children. If you have room in your heart and home for this very large boy, please fill out an application today at www.coonhoundrescue.com. Luke is in the Ft Worth area

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simply Luke, a Dallas Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
