Rooney's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rooney's Story...
Rooney is a perfect family companion. He's happy, outgoing and always ready to play and eager for love and attention. He quietly sleeps in his crate, sits still for a bath and rarely barks.
He is at the top of his field when it comes to learning new tricks and commands. Soon he will even be able to pick up his toys after playing with them. He is a master of "sit" and "lay down" and we dare you to find a dog more enthusiastic about going on walks.
If Rooney were a celebrity, he'd be the one everyone likes. He's joyful, loving, affectionate and a great listener. His favorite song is "Call Me Maybe." He's a very well-rounded dog - his hobbies include athletic activities like swimming, fetching AND cuddling on the couch. He love Game of Thrones.
Rooney's spirit animal is himself. He is the most interesting dog in the world.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rooney, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
