Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zooey is a very sweet and shy puppy. She is a little less than a year old and she weighs 35 lbs. She gets along great with other dogs and she does fine with cats too. She has lots of puppy energy and would love a backyard where she can run and be silly. Her favorite treat is peanut butter. She is a huge cuddler and she likes to curl up next to her foster mom, or one of the other dogs in the house, and take naps. She loves to have her floppy ears and her belly rubbed. She is a quick learner, very obedient, and she tries very hard to be a good girl. She does great with older kids that don't mind big paws, but she might be a little too rough with small children. She is still working on her house training, but she has very few accidents as long as she gets to go outside on a consistent schedule. This pup is nervous in new environments, so she'll need a loving and understanding family to help her feel loved and secure.
Zooey is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and current on Trifexis. She is fostered in Huntsville, AL, but is available for adoption in your area. You can fill out an application for Zooey here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/ and her foster mom will be in touch!
