My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our Chi Chi Gang! Cookie, Missy and Corina are one year old (maybe sisters) that were found in an abandoned home under horrendous conditions. The Wellington sheriff acted on a tip from a Good Samaritan and called on Patrolman and Friendship Volunteer Rick Broz for help. Upon entering the abandoned home several dogs including Cookie, Missy and Corina were found. They are sweet-sweet girls that are very timid upon meeting but slowly warm up and are cuddle monkeys. It's no wonder they are frightened. Who knows how long they were abandoned. Some dogs were upstairs in the home like the Chihuahuas and appeared to be somewhat taken care of. Others in the basement were in pretty bad shape. The girls are now all at Friendship anxiously waiting for loving and caring homes. They can be adopted together or separately. Please give them the time to get to know you when visiting. You will find them to be very loving pups.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
