Roxie is a Howlin 4 HELP Rescue referral dog. She is a super sweet 2 yr old pit mix rescued just in the nick of time from a high kill shelter in KY. Roxie LOVES to be around people and other dogs her size. She is such a kind girl and loves nothing more than to snuggle. This little girl is on the small size, weighing only 41 pounds. She has been completely vetted, is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Roxie is already house and kennel trained (but prefers not to be crated). Roxie MUST have a home with a high fenced in yard as she is able to jump the fence like a gazelle!! Roxie's adoption fee is $125. If you are interested in adopting her, please send an email to Christine@Howlin4help.com and she will forward it to Roxie’s foster mom.

About Our Rescue Group...

Howling 4 HELP is and all volunteer, not for profit organization dedicated to finding happy, health and safe homes for animals that are stray, abused, surrendered or unwanted. We strive to energize people to provide ideas and resources as well as temporary and permanent homes for animals in need. Our focus is to develop committed, effective relationships with like-minded people who identify animals in need of help, foster caregivers, and shelters. We are also committed to educating the public about responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering pets, microchipping and training.

Our goal is to reduce euthanasia of animals that are found as strays or are surrendered by owners to shelters by networking, rescuing and finding new homes

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts with an adopter completing an adoption application that requires a vet reference and personal references. An adopter's current pets must all be up to date on shots as well as spayed or neutered. Once all of the information in the application is confirmed and references are checked, Howlin 4 HELP Rescue will schedule a home visit with the potential adopter. All dogs will have their age appropriate shots, rabies, worming, microchipping and be spayed or neutered -except those with certain medical conditions that may prevent this basic care. Puppies will have age appropriate shots and must be spayed or neutered by six months of age with a vet letter.
