Boy, it’s an absolute shame this gorgeous, flashy fawn boy can’t see himself. Beautiful coat with perfect socks and flash on his head and neck; and eyes that see into your soul. He is visually impaired and still wins at hide and seek every time. He’s around 4 we think, but kind of hard to tell because he is so youthful and exuberant. If dogs grow into their tongues then Newton has some growing to do.

Newton lives with another fur buddy who he follows around to learn the lay of the land. He’s fine on his own too, but having a fur buddy really helps. He is kind of a velcro boy with his foster mom and absolutely loves his walks. He walks very properly on leash. He is house trained and sleeps all cuddled up in his crate at night.

Newton is a real gentleman with very good manners. Foster mom says he is a very flexible guy who stretches out like a frog. He’s also very brave and clever; rain drops frightened him but he figured that out. He loves squeaky or smelly toys that don’t roll too far away. He has not met cats and although he has done well with children he has met, he’d be best with children 10 or older so they don’t unwittingly startle him.

Don’t overlook this guy just because he’s visually impaired; he hardly notices and most of the people who meet him won’t either. Newton is a pretty special, very handsome gentleman you really should meet.
