My story

Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.

Tillie wants to be the next member of your family! She is a very sweet and loving dog that just wants somebody to love. She is eight months old, house broken, well behaved, passive, and has great leash manners. She is a spunky little girl who wants an active family able to give her lots of love. Her favorite thing is to play tug of war with her foster siblings. Her biological brother recently passed away and Tillie was very heartbroken over his passing. She howled every night for over a week.. She was then placed in a foster home with multiple dogs so she would have plenty of playmates. Because of this, we feel that Tillie would do best in a home with other dogs so she won't have to experience that loneliness again. She loves her humans and does what she can to please them so maybe they'll give her a part of their bed to sleep on at night. She is good natured and does well with cats, kids, and other dogs. She is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via PETS transport services upon adoption. Her adoption fee is $400 and includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs.

Second Chances is a rescue organization based out of Pontotoc, Mississippi which adopts dogs and puppies all over the Northeastern United States. All of our dogs and puppies are kept in private foster homes in Mississippi until adopted. Our dogs are NEVER in a facility.
