Frisky's Story...
Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.

Frisky wants to be the next member of your family! She is a very sweet and loving dog that just wants somebody to love. She is nine months old, house broken, and well behaved. She is a playful and active girl who loves to run and play with her foster siblings. She would enjoy a family who is active and has enough time to spend with her so she feels like a real member of a loving family.. She is good natured and does well with cats, kids, and other dogs. She is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via PETS transport services upon adoption. Her adoption fee is $400 and includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs.

Second Chances is a rescue organization based out of Pontotoc, Mississippi which adopts dogs and puppies all over the Northeastern United States. All of our dogs and puppies are kept in private foster homes in Mississippi until adopted. Our dogs are NEVER in a facility.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frisky, a Kittery Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian for sale in Kittery, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Kittery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kittery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kittery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kittery paves the way for another one to be saved.
