Carlee's Story...
Carlee is a 2.5 year old chihuahua. She came to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control where she was scared and shut down. Carlee is super affectionate and sweet, she is a gentle soul that has slowly learned to trust again. We are not certain of her past but when Carlee first came to us she was afraid of her own shadow! She has come so far! Carlee loves walks, loves the company of another small dog, and back scratches. Carlee would do best in a home that gives her time to settle in and likely a home with children over 10years old. Carlee loves the neighborhood kids who give her treats but does best with kids that are willing to approach slowly. Carlee is such a gem and deserve to learn the love of a caring owner. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carlee, a Chicago Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
