Macy came to the shelter because her previous owner died. She had some lameness in her left hind limb. After radio graphs it was revealed that she had a fracture that healed wrong. She also has arthritis present. She may require lifelong pain management, the new adopter should consult with their new veterinarian.
We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
Included in the adoption fee are rabies & distemper vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery.
