Romeo's Story...
Hi, my name is ROMEO and as my name suggests, I am a real LOVER. Everyone that meets me comments that I am a SWEETHEART AND A true LOVE BUG. As you can see, I am an ORANGE TABBY boy with touches of WHITE. I am 3 years old. My face is purr-fectly symmetrical and my nose is pink and adorable. I like to GREET people when they enter the room and I enjoy their ATTENTION as well. I am also CALM and RELAXED but I have a PLAYFUL side too. I get along very well with other cats! So if you’re looking for a COMPANION as well as a LIFETIME FRIEND, then I’m the kitty for you! Let’s meet. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
